These terms apply during the Veripres pilot, together with our Terms of Use and Privacy Notice. If these terms and the Terms of Use disagree about the pilot, these terms apply.
1. What the pilot is
1.1 The pilot is a closed testing phase of Veripres. It is planned to last about one month. We may shorten or extend it, and we will tell you if we do.
1.2 Patients can join for free. Doctors, clinic staff, pharmacists and pharmacy owners can join only by invitation. Each invitation works once, only for the email address, role and organisation it names, and expires after 7 days.
1.3 The pilot tests one journey from start to finish: a doctor writes a prescription, the patient shares it at a pharmacy counter, and the pharmacy dispenses it.
2. Things may change or go wrong
2.1 Veripres is still being tested. Features may change, move or be removed, sometimes without notice. Some things may not work as expected, and Veripres may be unavailable at times.
2.2 If a change affects how your information is shared or kept, we will tell you before it takes effect.
2.3 Keep your own copy of anything important. Patients: download the PDF of each prescription, which you can show at any pharmacy. Professionals: keep the records your professional rules require.
3. Demo accounts and real data
3.1 Some accounts in the pilot are demo accounts. They hold made-up people and sample data, for testing and training. We may reset or delete demo accounts and their data at any time.
3.2 We do not reset real patients' data. Apart from deleting it when you ask, or when the law requires, we will never delete it without telling you at least 30 days before. That gives you time to download it first.
3.3 Professionals: never enter a real patient's information into a demo account.
4. Not for emergencies
4.1 Veripres is not for emergencies. In an emergency, call 112 (or 108 for an ambulance), or go to the nearest hospital.
4.2 Professionals: if Veripres is unavailable or something looks wrong, use your usual process instead. A problem with Veripres must never delay care.
5. No fees
5.1 The pilot is free for everyone. Professionals pay nothing during the pilot.
5.2 Patients will never pay for Veripres. After the pilot, we plan to offer paid memberships for doctors and pharmacies. We will tell you the price and terms in advance, and you will not be charged unless you agree to them.
6. Feedback
6.1 Please tell us what is confusing or broken. Use the Feedback button, which appears on every screen once you sign in.
6.2 Feedback is stored without your name or account, so we cannot reply to it. If you need an answer, write to our Grievance Officer at grievance@veripres.example.
6.3 Do not put health details, or anyone else's personal information, in feedback.
6.4 We may use your feedback to improve Veripres. You keep ownership of what you write, and you give us permission to use it for this, free of charge and without a time limit.
7. Unreleased features (professionals)
7.1 If you are a professional, please ask us before you publish screenshots or details of Veripres features that are not yet public.
7.2 This never stops you from discussing your patients' care where your professional rules allow it, disclosing what the law requires, or raising a concern with a regulator or other authority.
8. How to leave
8.1 You can leave the pilot at any time.
8.2 Patients: download your data from the Consent centre, then ask us to delete your account there. If you simply stop using Veripres, your account stays open until you ask us to delete it.
8.3 Professionals: tell the Veripres pilot team, or write to our Grievance Officer at grievance@veripres.example. We will close your access.
8.4 Doctors: prescriptions you have already signed stay in your patients' records, and can still be checked on the public checking page.
8.5 Pharmacies: before you leave, export your dispensing register (as CSV or PDF). You must keep it for as long as the law requires.
9. When the pilot ends
9.1 Before the pilot ends, we will tell you what happens next. Your account and record do not end with the pilot.
9.2 If we ever decide to close Veripres, we will tell you at least 30 days before we delete any real patient data, so that you can download it first.
